A local CPA firm is seeking a candidate who wishes to fulfill professional aspirations in public accounting. An entry-level staff accountant/bookkeeper position is being sought. Staff accountants will be handling bank reconciliation, general excise taxes, payroll, journal entries, general ledger, and preparation of financial statements. Candidate will learn all phases of a public CPA firm, including income taxes.
To be considered, candidates should:
1) A bachelor's Degree in Accounting is preferred, but equivalent education or experience is OK, 2)Working knowledge of QuickBooks, good computer skills, and 10 Key proficiency, 3) Possess good communication, time management, and organizational skills, 4) Be self-motivated, team-oriented, and detail-minded, 5) Positive attitude with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, 6) Have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word applications.
Salary will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
