Scope of Position

The Aviation Maintenance Technician (Mechanic) is responsible for the inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of corporate aircraft to ensure airworthiness, safety, and regulatory compliance. This position performs maintenance activities in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, manufacturer technical data, and company policies and procedures. The technician works collaboratively with maintenance personnel and management to support efficient aircraft operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on corporate aircraft, engines, and associated systems in compliance with FAA regulations and company policies.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and avionics-related discrepancies using approved test equipment, computers, wiring diagrams, and technical publications.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with manufacturer technical data, Repair Station Operations Specifications, and FAA requirements.
  • Adhere to the Repair Station Manual and Quality Control Manual procedures at all times.
  • Maintain compliance with company safety, environmental, and operational policies and procedures.
  • Accurately document maintenance actions and ensure proper completion of required records.
  • Perform additional duties and tasks as assigned to support operational needs.

Required Education and Certifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
  • Minimum of 5 years of business jet maintenance experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of business aviation maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Falcon 900 and/or CRJ200 aircraft.

The range for this position is $92,070.00 - $126,597.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
