Job Description
As our Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will manage our daily financial operations, from transaction entry to financial statement preparation. The ideal candidate is a QuickBooks expert who can seamlessly handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Location: Hicksville, NY (Conveniently located near the LIRR station)
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Responsibilities
- QuickBooks Management: Maintain a complete, accurate, and up-to-date general ledger within QuickBooks; post daily journal entries and manage month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate and issue client invoices, process incoming payments, monitor aging reports, and manage collections.
- Accounts Payable (AP): Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices into QuickBooks; reconcile purchase orders and schedule timely payments.
- Payroll Administration: Process company payroll accurately, ensuring proper tax withholdings and tracking benefit deductions.
- Banking & Reconciliation: Reconcile all bank statements, credit card accounts, and merchant accounts directly within QuickBooks on a regular basis.
- Financial Reporting: Generate accurate monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports for executive review.
- Compliance: Assist with sales tax filings, preparation for annual tax returns, and coordination with our outside CPA.
