Job Description

Poolsure, An Aquasol Company,  is searching for a Class A - Hazmat Tanker Driver   to join our team in  San Marcos, Texas .

This position will begin each day from our satellite office in San Marcos, TX.

The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and be experienced in transporting hazardous materials in bulk quantities. As a Hazmat Tanker Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of hazardous materials from our suppliers to our satellite office(s) throughout Texas.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the transportation of hazardous materials.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues or concerns.
• Follow established safety protocols and emergency procedures in the event of accidents, spills, or other hazardous situations.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring that all safety equipment is in good working order.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent our company in a professional and courteous manner.
• Safely transport bulk hazardous materials to designated locations following all relevant safety regulations and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation, including bills of lading and shipping manifests.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsement
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bulk hazmat delivery driver, is preferred
• Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations or accidents
• Knowledge of federal and state hazmat transportation regulations
• Strong attention to safety and the ability to handle hazardous materials responsibly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physical ability to load and unload bulk hazardous materials as required
