ABOUT US:
Arts in Action Community Charter School opened in Fall 2011 with grades K-5. The elementary program aims to provide a rigorous academic foundation while developing the whole child through a rich arts program, a daily socio-emotional learning component, and modeling advocacy through social justice initiatives.
Arts in Action Community Middle School opened in Fall 2016 and serves grades 6-8 students. We believe that all students deserve access to the arts. JOB DESCRIPTION: The After-School Program Leader supports the school's extended learning program by providing academic, enrichment, and supervisory support to students during after-school hours. Under the direction of school and program leadership, the After-School Program Leader works with individual students and small groups to reinforce classroom instruction, promote student engagement, support positive behavior, and foster a safe, inclusive, and enriching learning environment. This position collaborates with teachers and staff to support students' academic, social-emotional, and developmental needs while contributing to the overall success of the after-school program.

WAGE AND BENEFITS: This is a part-time, 10-month, non-exempt hourly position that follows the academic school year calendar, with the possibility of additional summer employment based on organizational needs and program availability. The wage rate is $25.00 an hour.
