    • Daily monitoring of water distribution, moisture levels, and system performance.
    • Troubleshooting and repair of mainlines, lateral lines, Claval valves, heads, and rotors.
    • Coordination of pump-station operations, central control adjustments, and water-window optimization.
    • Implementation of water-conservation strategies consistent with regional restrictions and best practices.
  • Plan, execute, and manage all overseed programs including seed selection, cultural practices, germination monitoring, grow-in schedules, and the full transition back to warm-season turf.
  • Develop and implement annual fertility, chemical, and cultural maintenance programs tailored to desert climate conditions.
  • Supervise, train, and evaluate Lexington maintenance staff, ensuring consistent execution of standards and safe work practices.
  • Partner with the Equipment Manager to maintain proper equipment performance and support preventive-maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate closely with the Director of Agronomy to align course-conditioning goals, labor strategies, capital planning, and seasonal priorities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of chemical usage, water usage, overseed plans, and cultural-practice logs.
  • Support major capital projects, irrigation upgrades, and renovation initiatives with planning, vendor relations, and on-site supervision.
  • Uphold compliance with Nevada pesticide regulations, OSHA safety standards, and environmental-stewardship protocols.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • PTO and holiday schedule.
  • Golf privileges and meal benefits.
  • Professional development and advancement opportunities within Western Golf Properties.

  • Nevada pesticide applicator license (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
