Job Opportunity – Emergency Medicine Physician – Florida

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm, 7pm-7am); days, nights, and weekends; minimum 6-8 shifts per month required

Highlights:

• State-of-the-art emergency department with complete renovation and expansion completed March 2022
• 18-bed ED with annual volume of approximately 20,000 visits; daily census ranges from low 50s to 70 patients depending on season
• 24/7 physician coverage with APP support during peak hours (9am-9pm core hours)
• Meditech P-doc EMR and M-Modal dictation system
• Primary Stroke Center designation with full diagnostic imaging capabilities including MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound
• Opportunity to work at main hospital campus and affiliated freestanding emergency departments

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
• Active ACLS certification
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends
• Willingness to rotate between main hospital and affiliated freestanding emergency departments
• Commitment to minimum 6-8 shifts per month
