The Purpose Of This Position Is

This is an entry-level position. Manufacturing Associate I’s are responsible for learning and executing production processes to manufacture small parts of low to medium complexity using a variety of tools including tweezers, microscopes, and hand presses. Processes to learn include assembly, reading routers, work instructions and drawings.

This Position Includes Significant Duties Such As

  • Work in a team environment to optimize output of quality product, assist others as necessary and promote safety awareness.
  • Learn to perform and become proficient with area operations for low to medium complexity products using a microscope and various small bench top tools.
  • Learn to perform routine maintenance on needed equipment.
  • Be able to identify parts and possess good manual dexterity to produce parts to required quality and quantity.
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprints, part identification, and record data in accordance with router, work instructions, and drawing instructions.
  • Perform inspection to identify good product from bad product and take appropriate corrective actions.
  • Associates are expected to know performance metrics and work toward targeted objectives.
  • Associates should proactively report any part, process, or equipment issues as soon as they become aware.

The range for this position is $20.00 hourly rate - $23.50 hourly rate. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
