Position Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

Location: Hyannis, MA 02601

Job Type: Contract | Travel Assignment

Shift: Night Shift – 12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday required

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dynamic Emergency Department team. This role involves delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment, managing a wide range of medical emergencies with professionalism and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rapid patient assessments, triage, and stabilization
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical protocols
• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant patient care environment

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Emergency Department or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems preferred
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
