The New Mexico Oil & Gas Association (NMOGA) is a coalition of oil and natural gas
companies and community partners dedicated to promoting the safe, sustainable, and
environmentally responsible development of energy resources in New Mexico. Through
advocacy, collaboration, and education, NMOGA works to ensure policymakers, stakeholders,
and the public understand the critical role the industry plays in supporting New Mexico’s
economy and energy security.

Position Summary
The Regulatory Affairs Analyst supports NMOGA’s regulatory and policy initiatives by
monitoring regulatory developments, conducting research and analysis, and assisting the
Regulatory Affairs team in communicating regulatory updates to members.
This position provides an opportunity for an early-career professional to gain experience in
energy policy and regulatory affairs while working closely with industry experts, regulatory
agencies, and NMOGA member companies. The Analyst will help track regulatory
developments, prepare research summaries, and assist with member communications and
regulatory committee coordination.
The position reports to the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and works closely with other
NMOGA staff and member company representatives.
Key Responsibilities
Regulatory Monitoring & Research• Track regulatory developments affecting the oil and natural gas industry at the state and
federal level.
