Job Description

Salary: $103,700 - 171,350 per year Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or equivalent qualifications
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience or a combination of technical education and experience
• Solid grasp of structural dynamics, including understanding dynamic responses of structures and vibration analysis
• Proficiency in structural analysis software, such as NASTRAN

• Lead the development of air vehicle environments for vibrations, shock, and acoustic noise
• Collaborate with airframe and subsystem design and analysis engineers to create integrated models for flight vehicle analysis aligned with a Model Based Engineering (MBE) environment
• Conduct analyses for buffet, aeroacoustics, and vibration to support air vehicle design and integrations
• Establish flight envelopes and operational limits based on analysis and test outcomes
• Create flight and ground test plans
• Implement wind tunnel, ground, or flight test programs by developing test requirements, conducting pre-test data analyses, monitoring tests, analyzing data, and documenting results to support design and verification of vehicles and components
• Review and endorse airframe and subsystem hardware packages to ensure flight worthiness and compliance with service environment
• Provide onsite support for hardware vendor qualification tests, including troubleshooting and approving modifications to test plans
• Provide necessary data to define and document structural design requirements for the products service life, ensuring alignment with company, customer, and regulatory standards
