Job Description

As our employer is preparing to further expand its presence in the U.S. market, a comprehensive understanding and investigation of the U.S. market is essential. In line with its development needs, we are now recruiting a U.S. Compliance & Risk Control Specialist on a global scale. We sincerely seek a professional with profound expertise to provide professional support for our client’s compliant operation and risk prevention in the U.S. market.
This is a part-time, remote position that allows you to provide consulting services based on the employer’s business expansion needs, without the requirement of on-site work. Core Responsibilities

Overall plan and coordinate the compliance and risk control work of U.S. market investment, comprehensively sort out relevant U.S. laws, regulations and industry supervision policies, and ensure that the company’s investment and business activities in the U.S. are fully compliant.

Establish compliance and risk control processes, and identify various risks in the investment process, including legal, policy and compliance risks.

Review various contracts and agreements, coordinate with U.S. local law firms, tax authorities and relevant institutions, and handle compliance, tax and legal disputes.

Conduct investment risk assessments, quantify risk levels, put forward response plans, provide compliance and risk control suggestions for investment decisions, and ensure investment safety.

Key Requirements

Proficient in U.S. commercial law, regulatory policies and tax rules, with relevant experience in cross-border compliance and risk control, tax compliance and legal affairs.

Possess strong capabilities in risk prediction, risk disposal and data analysis, with a keen sense of risk in the U.S. market.

Fluent in English, capable of proficiently handling English legal and tax documents, and able to quickly coordinate with relevant U.S. institutions.

Preferred candidates include experts, scholars, think tank researchers, investigative journalists who have worked in the U.S. or U.S.-related fields, as well as professionals from government decision-making departments or NGO organizations with in-depth knowledge of this field.

Work Nature & Remuneration
This is a part-time, remote position. You only need to provide corresponding consulting services according to the employer’s business expansion needs, and there is no requirement to be on-site at the workplace.
