Job Description

The Role:

As an Archivist, you will be responsible for managing and preserving valuable historical documents and records. You will work closely with various departments to ensure the proper organization, storage, and accessibility of archival materials.

  • Develop and implement archival policies and procedures.
  • Catalog and classify archival materials for easy retrieval.
  • Assist in the digitization of records to enhance accessibility.
  • Conduct research and provide reference services to staff and the public.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to promote archival collections.

Team Structure: You will be part of a dedicated team of information professionals, working under the supervision of the Head Archivist.

Ideal Profile :

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for preserving history.

  • Master's degree in Archival Science, Library Science, or related field.
  • Experience with archival management software.
  • Knowledge of preservation techniques.
  • Familiarity with metadata standards.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
